How do I search for new opportunities?
Click on Solicitations and Search to get to the “Solicitation Search” page.
Enter simple keyword(s) or a specific Solicitation Number and Search.
Click on the title of the bid to see the available details.
I receive “An error has occurred” when looking for a bid?
If you receive the following error when searching for a bid, “An error has occurred”, this means that you are likely not registered with the corresponding purchasing group. Please click on Solicitations > Matching Profile to add the correct purchasing group.
How do I filter bids?
You can narrow your search results by using the Advanced Search settings; Please note that free accounts will have limited Advanced Search functionality.
Click on Solicitations and Search to get to the “Solicitation Search” page.
Enter simple keyword(s) or the Solicitation Number and Search.
Toggle the “Advanced Search” settings on the left to search by Organization, Location, Closing Date, etc.
Click on the title of a bid to see the available details.
If you like the results, click Save Search to keep these filters for future use (not available on all plans).

How can I find bids from a specific agency?
To find bids from a specific agency there are two options, use the Advanced Search settings to search by Organization, or click through Participating Organizations at the top of the page to locate the correct agency icon.
How do I search for closed or former solicitations?
Click on Solicitations and Search to get to the “Solicitation Search” page.
Set the “Status” to Closed Solicitations.
Enter simple keyword(s) or the Solicitation Number and Search.
Click on the title of the opportunity to view the available details.
Where can I find bid results or awards?
To view Bid Results or Award information:
Click on Solicitations then Search.
Set the “Status” to Closed Solicitations or Awarded Solicitations.
Enter simple keyword(s) or a specific Solicitation Number and Search.
Click on the title of the bid opportunity you wish to view.
Look for a publication of Bid Results and / or Award.
Free accounts will have to click through Participating Organizations at the top of the page, locate the correct agency icon, and look for an Awarded Solicitations tab.
Where can I find Participating Organizations or Member Agencies?
For a list of Member Agencies who post directly to the BidNet Direct platform, click on Participating Organizations at the top of the page, then click on the Participating Organizations icon. If you are registered with more than one purchasing group, All Groups will be displayed in alphabetical order. To narrow your search, click the arrow next to “All Groups” and select a purchasing group / state from the list. Click on the corresponding icon for the agency to view open, closed, or awarded bid information. If you select a purchasing group where you are NOT registered, you will be prompted to register with that group.
Why is my search showing zero results?
If the Solicitation Search page shows zero opportunities, it is likely that you have filters in place or have a Saved Search populated. Click on the BidNet Direct logo in the upper-left to refresh the page or select My Purchasing Groups from the Saved Search drop-down.
What bids are available to me on the Free, Basic, Limited plan?
To view solicitations available on the free, basic plan, you may click directly on the Member Agency Bids box to focus on the opportunities available to you without having to upgrade.
